We use CCTV and body-worn video to prevent and detect crime, protect staff and the public, and support the investigation of incidents and complaints.

Lawful basis
Footage is personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), and where relevant, processing for the prevention and detection of crime.

When recording takes place

Retention period
Footage is retained for [TO BE COMPLETED] days unless required for an investigation or legal proceedings, then securely deleted.
Subject access requests
You have the right to request a copy of footage in which you appear. Email info@euroguardeu.co.uk with the date, time and location. We will respond within one calendar month.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
